What Our Patients Say

"Dr. Wang is unusual in today's world, in that he is a true physician in every sense. Not only is he highly knowledgeable in his special areas of knowledge, but he is a doctor with a heart. He listens, observes, hears, and sees the patient as a total human being, not just an assembly-line problem. He is as eager as we are ourselves, to identify the stumbling blocks to our better health, and to suggest practical ways of clearing our own individual pathways towards that goal. "

Bio-Identical Hormone Replacement Therapy

Bio-Identical Hormone Replacement Therapy (BHRT) treats the symptoms of menopause such as hot flashes, mood disturbances, and insomnia, using hormones that are molecularly identical to the ones produced by our bodies.

Pharmaceutical companies spend a fortune in covincing the public that BHRT lacks scientifical evidence and is not safer or effective than synthetic HRT. Why? Bioidentical hormones are natural substances that cannot be patented as a drug. Recently, Dr. Kent Holtorf (MD) concluded that, based on a study involving 176 menopausal women:

"Physiological data and clinical outcomes demonstrate that bioidentical hormones are associated with lower risks, including the risk of breast cancer and cardiovascular disease, and are more efficacious than their synthetic and animalderived counterparts. Until evidence is found to the contrary, bioidentical hormones remain the preferred method of HRT."1

Still unsure or want more information?

We're happy to thoroughly discuss with you the purpose, benefits, and side effects of hormone therapy.
